IST: India separated by time| Stop-motion documentary
#IndianStandardTime #StopMotionDocumentary #Timezones The documentary explores the possibility of having two time zones for India in order to save valuable energy and increase productivity. Documentary also finds out modalities and possible mitigation for the issue. This documentary was part of my final college project submission. Unfortunately, the documentary was halted in-between because of the pandemic in 2020, which is why I implemented that idea in form of a stop motion video at home. This was my first attempt towards stop motion films. Hope you guys like the video!
Dear dream company, I am an undergraduate from Bennett University, looking for an opportunity to do what I love the most, i.e create meaningful photos and video... It's been more than 7 years since I have been in a relationship with my camera. I love telling stories and documenting life through my camera. Soon in college, I really got fascinated with the art of documentary filmmaking and pursued my Honours specialisation in TV journalism. This love and passion of mine drove me to take up any possible challenges on the way and made me a dedicated hard worker. For example, despite not being the best technologically equipped person, my passion and hard work helped me learn software like premiere pro and after-effects to delivery my story across the table. If given a chance, I will work from my heart and with the zeal to constantly learn and do my best. Looking forward to working for you! https://www.reetiagarwal.com/ Email: email@example.com (DISCLAIMER: This is my first animated project on after effects, so please bear with the basic animation work! I basically learnt After-effects online during the COVID-19 lockdown.) #hire_reetiagarwal #photojournalist #documentaryfilmaker #videocreator #videoeditor #photographer #visualartist
Delhi on Male Contraceptives: Pills and gels
After watching the explained series on Netflix by Vox on the harmful effects of the female birth control pill, I started my research around male contraceptives options. On researching, I found India to be the first country to produce male contraceptive pills. The once-daily pill contains hormones designed to stop sperm production. It would be a welcome addition to condoms or vasectomy - the only options currently available to men. (source: BBC) I believe contraception is a shared responsibility and women shouldn't feel pressurized to take these harmful birth control pills. Please like and subscribe to my channel !! Thank you #contraceptives #malecontraceptives #malebirthcontrolpill #voxpop
Delhi running out of Water ?
Water, something which is essential to life on earth is depleting significantly. We humans are moving towards development & modernisation, destroying nature at its best during this process. The alarm clock is already ringing in India, estimating 21 cities to run out of clean drinking water by 2020. The repercussion of this has already started showing in few colonies of Delhi. We must make small efforts to save water and nature, these small steps can make a huge difference. #watershortage #waterdepletion #watercrisis #savewater #groundwaterdepletion #documentary
1947 Partition continues to uproot people...
British India was partitioned in 1947 but still continues to uproot people on borders. Many Hindu families living in Pakistan were being devoided of basic necessities like education, jobs. Which is why they were pushed to join back their Hindu nation... Did partition widen the gap between Hindus and Muslims by defining Pakistan for Muslims and India for Hindus? Let's see how these refugees have managed to survive their way through in Delhi, near Majnu ka Tilla.
Pushkar mela in a jiff
The Pushkar Fair, also called the Pushkar Camel Fair or locally as Kartik Mela or Pushkar ka Mela is an annual multi-day livestock fair and cultural fête held in the town of Pushkar (Rajasthan, India). The Pushkar fair is one of India's largest camel, horse and cattle fairs. Apart from the trading of livestock, it is an important pilgrimage season for Hindus to the Pushkar lake.
Dharamshala in a jiffy
Hey guys! Honestly I was hoping the video to turn out better, i believe this is not my best work ! Hopes up for the next video.. I had gone to Dharamshala with a group of 100 kids for a camp between 15th oct to 21st oct. I spent my Dussehra at the camp and it was one of the most beautiful moments.
